Description

Role Summary

The role is responsible for driving B2B, solution-oriented marketing for industrial air and gas compressors. The incumbent will focus on BTL-led demand generation, digital marketing, account-based marketing (ABM) for large projects, and selective ATL initiatives to strengthen brand credibility. The role requires close collaboration with sales, application engineering, and channel partners to support long sales cycles and high-value deals.

1. B2B & Solution-Based Marketing (Core Responsibility) 

• Develop marketing strategies focused on application-based selling across industries such as Oil & Gas, Energy, Pharma, Manufacturing, Cement, Steel, and Biogas.
• Translate technical product features into customer-centric value propositions (efficiency, uptime, lifecycle cost, reliability, compliance). 
• Create case studies, application notes, ROI-based presentations, and solution decks to support sales teams. 

2. BTL Marketing & Demand Generation (Primary Focus) 

• Plan and execute BTL campaigns aimed at lead generation and customer engagement. 
• Manage participation in industrial exhibitions, trade fairs, customer meets, and technical seminars. 
• Design and deploy sales enablement tools including brochures, presentations, demos, and technical collaterals. 
• Support distributor and channel partner marketing initiatives. 

3. Digital Marketing for Industrial Buyers 

• Drive digital lead generation through website optimization, SEO, landing pages, and gated content. 
• Manage LinkedIn marketing and paid campaigns targeting plant heads, procurement leaders, and technical decision-makers. 
• Oversee creation of technical blogs, whitepapers, videos, and product explainers aligned with buyer research behavior. 
• Track digital KPIs such as lead quality, engagement, and conversion rates. 

4. Selective ATL & Brand Building 

• Execute selective ATL initiatives for brand visibility and credibility within industrial ecosystems. 
• Manage advertisements in industry magazines, trade journals, and event sponsorships.
• Ensure consistency in brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity across all platforms. 

5. Account-Based Marketing (ABM) for Large & Strategic Projects 

• Identify and support key accounts, EPCs, PSU projects, and large industrial customers.
• Develop customized marketing materials and proposals for high-value opportunities. 
• Work closely with sales and technical teams for one-to-one, relationship-driven engagement. 
• Support long sales cycles through targeted campaigns and decision-maker engagement. 

6. Market Research, Analytics & Stakeholder Collaboration 

• Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and industry trend analysis. 
• Track marketing performance, campaign ROI, and pipeline contribution.
• Collaborate with sales, service, application engineering, and leadership teams for aligned go-to-market strategies. 
• Manage external agencies, creative partners, and vendors.

• 2+ years of experience in industrial / manufacturing / engineering-led B2B marketing 
• Strong exposure to air & gas compressors, capital equipment, or similar products 
• Ability to work with technical teams and long sales cycles 
• Hands-on, execution-focused, and commercially oriented mindset
